One day a car dealer from Berlin called me:"Hello Lottermann, I’ve taken a completely worn out Rocket in part exchange. It’s got over 30000km on the clock, was regularly ridden in Winter & looks like it’s not been looked after ever since. Can you even imagine how the thing looks?" Of course I could and I replied: "Sounds like a lot of work, and my workshop is full to the rafters. Jens‘ answer was "No problem, I don’t even have a bike license." "Great …, I couldn’t think of a better bike for a beginner as a Rocket."That’s pretty much how the conversation started.Then it arrived. Oh no! Worn out didn’t cover it. But hey ho.We took it on and after more than seven months I think a pretty respectable result was achieved.
