Speedometer replacement at Thunderbird or Thunderbird Storm
By Thunderbird model 2011 on, it is not possible to remove the original instruments.
The CAN bus installed in these models reacts immediately with a refusal of work if the original instrument is no longer connected.
For this problem, we have this CAN bus Adapter in the program.
In addition to information such as engine speed and ground speed, the adapter also provides the signals for indicator lights: left/right turn signal, low fuel indicator, error memory, high beam, neutral, water temp HIGH, oil pressure.
Please note:
that the model year is not necessarily identical to the year of manufacture.
Position "11" in the vehicle identification number (from left) identifies the model year. Example: "8" = 2008, "A" = 2010, "B" = 2011, "C" = 2012 etc.
